Erika Kauffman /
Erika Kauffman is a junior communication major, born and raised in Alaska and currently claiming Beaver Falls as home. Alongside overseeing the business and decision-based aspects of The Cabinet, she serves in the Center for Student Engagement on campus. Erika has a love for writing, developing community, exploring new places, drinking enough coffee to keep a small dragon caffeinated, and spending time with her family and friends.
Emily Walker /
Emily Walker is a junior communication major from Franklin, Indiana. She is passionate about a great many things, including, but not limited to, her eight-year old beagle Maggie, the East Coast, caramel lattes, and 60’s music. After graduation, she hopes to pursue her love for writing in journalism or a related field.
Alexis Dingeldein /
Alexis Dingeldein is a sophomore business major from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She is a young adult fiction writer and self-published author. Alexis spends significant amounts of time obsessing over sunflowers, good conversation, and fictional characters. She hopes to one day find her place in the book industry and to spend her life loving people through writing.
Megan Schoeneweis /
Megan Schoeneweis is a senior communication major, enduring a double emphasis in integrated media and visual communication, from Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Megan is a Geneva College student-athlete, so she gets to spend a bulk of her time playing the sport that she loves; which is soccer. In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with the people that mean the most to her while listening to live bands. Photography and videography have been a huge part of her life and she is extremely excited to give back to the Geneva College community through the position that she upholds for the Cabinet. She hopes to someday have her own family and serve others through the talents that God has blessed her with.
Lynsie Houk /Managing Editor
Lynsie Houk is a sophomore business major from Harmony, Pennsylvania. Lynsie loves to travel and has been all over the United States and to a few countries in Europe. As managing editor, she oversees day-to-day communication between The Cabinet and its student writers. This summer, Lynsie got a sweet puppy named Hazel, who is an Australian Sheppard and Norwegian Elkhound mix. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a job in industry and hopefully stay in the Pittsburgh area.
Lois Piscatello /
Layout Editor and Web Manager
Lois Piscatello is a Computer Science major with a double minor in Mathematics and Cybersecurity. Around campus she sings with The Genevans and works with their conductor Dr. David Smith to develop their artistic vision and create graphics. Lois is also the secretary for the Computer Science club and works for the Registrars office as their IT intern. She also enjoys participating in open mics, reading, and drinking coffee. After college Lois hopes to pursue a position as a Cybersecurity Auditor or Analyst.
