On Jan. 22, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh submitted a campus closure plan set to take place March 31. In a letter addressed to Geneva College, the institute said, “The decision was made for a number of reasons, including significantly declining enrollment.” The closure will prevent most students, including one Geneva student, from receiving a degree. On Feb. 27, GVALS welcomed Christopher Yuan, professor of Biblical studies at Moody Bible Institute, for the third time to speak on campus. He addressed the subjects “Redeeming Biblical Singleness” at chapel and “A Christian Response to Homosexuality” in the evening in Skye Lounge.
