Despite rainy weather Saturday afternoon, Homecoming festivities continued and this year saw Steven Mandella and Paige Wintermute crowned as king and queen of homecoming court. “I really didn’t think we were going to win,” said Paige, a communication disorders major from Clinton, New Jersey. “[We feel] good,” said Steven, an engineering major from North Hunterdon, Pennsylvania. “Homecoming is a really fun event.” Both Steven and Paige remarked they were looking forward to the game and other events of the day and would try to be at as many events as possible.
Up for king and queen this year were three other couples: Jericho Hilling and Clara Greene, Thomas Kinney and Rachel Stevenson, and Doug Boylan and Darby Baublitz.
Honored with royal status for the 2018 Homecoming were also juniors Lincoln Mimidis and Eden Smith; sophomores Jacob McLaughlin and Lauren Tipton; and freshmen Knox Tweed and Morgan Marquez.
